  • Wash your hands frequently.

  • Get as much sleep as possible.  Try for 8 hours of quality sleep per night. If you are waking up frequently, make sure you bring it to the doctor's attention - We can help.

  • Drink enough water.  6 - 8 glasses per day.  Most people are dehydrated. By the time you're thirsty you are already dehydrated.

  • Make sure you are getting your regular chiropractic adjustments to keep your immune system at peak performance.

  • Get adequate Vitamin D.  According to the Vitamin D Council, there are 3 ways for adults to ensure adequate levels of vitamin D:

    1. Regularly receive midday sun exposure in the late spring, summer, and early fall, exposing as much of the skin as possible (being careful to never burn).

  1. Regularly use a sun bed (avoiding sunburn) during the colder months.

  2. Take 5,000 IU per day for 2–3 months, then obtain a 25-hydroxyvitamin D test.  Adjust your dosage so that blood levels are between 50–80 ng/mL (or 125–200 nM/L) year-round.
